President's Message

On behalf of the board of directors I would like to welcome you to the 160th Harrow Fair.  160 years is quite an accomplishment!  Several generations of families have been involved in establishing and growing our fair into what it is today. Many small communities in Ontario have not been able to maintain their annual fairs.  We, however, are very fortunate to have a wonderful group of volunteers that help keep us going.  This list of volunteers includes the directors and associates as well as many service groups and local organizations.  Their overwhelming support and assistance make our fair a destination for the whole community to enjoy. Come to the fair and enjoy the displays of fruit and vegetables, baking, needlework, farm animals and arts and crafts.  Carter Shows again provides the midway and rides.  There are numerous shows that you and your family can experience.  Horse shows, tractor pulls, lawnmower races, 4-H competitions, parade and auctions as well as our main stage entertainment. Last but not least, I would like to thank our volunteers, exhibitors and everyone who attends our fair.  Without each and everyone of you we could not have survived for 160 years. Thanks and enjoy the fair.
